Supermarket Fish fingers
Ingredients
Salt
Butter
Skimmed milk powder
Vegetable Oil
Soya flour
Butter water
Baking powder (raising agent E450, E500)
Wheat flour
Mustard
Breadcrumbs
Sugar
Maize flour
Dextrose sugar
Maize starch
Spices
Homemade Fish Fingers
Preparation time 15 Minutes (overall at 180°c)
Cooking time 10 minutes
Serves 2 (children age 1-4)
Ingredients
75g cod or haddock fillet (cut into finger size)
2 tbsp plain flour
1 eg and a dash of milk whisked together.
4 slices of brown bread (whizzed to fine crumbs in food processor)
Method
Toss 3 or 4 of the fish pieces in the flour then dunk in the egg mixture and roll in the breadcrumbs, patting well until evenly coated.
Place onto a non stick tray and bake until golden.
