Mini Mozarts

Dear Parent/Carer

Today your child took part in Mini Mozarts, a unique music and movement programme for babies through to school age. The sessions promote learning through music and movement in a fun and imaginative way.

During the session children are encouraged to find their voice and sing a variety of familiar ad specially written songs which all assist in speech development. Songs are often sung unaccompanied as well as with live music or recordings. Children dance, sing and play instruments to live music and recorded music. Music from a range of genres are used in the instruments and become aware of the elements of music such as tempo, pitch, timbre, which are incorporated in the sessions.

Movement plays an important role in each session. Children learn to express themselves through dance, move in response to the music and develop gross motor skills. It also helps to build children’s fitness levels and co-ordination. Mini Mozarts use a variety of props and puppets to make the session as colourful and exciting for the children as possible.

Mini Mozarts supports the Early Years Foundation Stage and strongly believe that music is fundamental to children’s development. Children learn basic early year’s concepts through the various activities in the sessions. Special songs and movement activities aid maths and literacy skills.

Parents and carers quickly see the impact the programme has on the children’s development as the programme helps children in so many ways. To read more about the benefits, please visit the Mini Mozarts website. www.minimozarts.co.uk

With 10 years of music teaching experience you can be assured that all sessions are of the highest quality and are led by myself the Mini Mozarts founder, a fully trained music teacher and musician.

Kind regards,
